In my case, I think one of the best sitcoms is 'Seinfeld' (USA). In short words, it is indeed a show about NOTHING
just four single people (3men, 1 wonam) from New York, and how they deal with their everyday situations. The show was very succesful and it was over in 1997-98 after being on the air I guess since 1987. After this I guess 'The Simpsons', and also 'Two and a half men', also from the US...
So, which ones are your favorites?

Hmmm my all time favorite would have to be Seinfeld. Larry david and Jerry seinfeld did an awesome job with this show. Anyway the others would be: Arrested Development Fawlty Towers Becker Only fools and horses (This is hilarious, a british sitcom you have to watch)

seinfeld and home improvement take the cake for me. everybody loves raymond is only good when im really really stoned. and i hate everything having to do with sex and the city. EVERYTHING. i dont understand the appeal of a show about a buncha whores (the nastiest being sarah jessica parker, who by the way, looks like grim death) in new york city. zzzz.

Seinfeld by far!!! I just love that sitcom I never get bored of watching the episodes over and over again, I feel represented in a lot of things, in a lot of situations and reaction of some characters, in some cases I would act just like them in a similar situation. I used to watched a lot of sitcoms a few years ago, my favorites were: thats 70's show, everybody loves raymond, the king of kings, married with children, the cosby show. Nowadays are: two and a half man, the big bang theory and the new adventures of old christine

Hmm I dont know... I have a few that i like and watch regularly.. I like: Coupling The Young Ones Fawlty Towers Father Ted The Simpsons I pretty much watch the same things as Matt so Whatever he watches, I like lol

Currently on the air, i think the mrs and i only watch two sitcoms "religiously" - the office (us) and modern family. i think modern family is brilliant. Arrested Development and Seinfeld would be my favorites, 1 and 1a of all time.

I'd say: Scrubs, Spaced, The IT Crowd, The Mighty Boosh, 30 rock, red dwarf, coupling, and arrested development are my fave sitcoms atm. if anyone knows any awesome sitcoms along those lines, please reccomend.
