Municipal Waste - New Video Online

Earache Records press release:

"Chaos broke out recently when Virginian thrashers Municipal Waste paid a visit to a nuclear power plant. Needless to say, the power plant couldn't handle the sheer energy of the band and the building started to collapse, causing toxic waste to leak into the local water supply with some rather unsettling results.

There couldn't be a scarier thought, but luckily for us, this didn't actually happen. This tale of terror sets the scene for Municipal Waste's gory new music video for the track "Sadistic Magician", which comes off the band's 2007 Earache Records album, "The Art Of Partying".

Filmed at the Hyperion Sewage Treatment Plant in Playa del Ray, California, the "Sadistic Magician" video was directed by Jeff Speed of 1134 Films and produced by Carolyn Vye of The Vault LA (Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, Madina Lake) and features Municipal Waste doing what they best - thrashing it up and laying waste to everything around them!

Director Jeff Speed comments on the video: "Humor, horror, metal and mayhem have always been a winning combination. It's 80's throwback to the fullest - back when videos were fun and the music was still dangerous. Municipal Waste is the perfect band for it because this is exactly who they are - no bullshit."

Check out all the carnage of the video at this location.

Agreed, but some of there best songs are like 30 seconds long, which wouldnt be good video material.

Oh, really? Napalm Death are thinking nothing of that. The video for their song "The Kill" clocks off at 26 seconds. And their video for the fantastic song "You Suffer" has even broke the world record for the shortest music video ever. "Lasting a mere 1,3 second in length the "You Suffer" video takes the crown from Brutal Truth who were currently holding that record with their "Collateral Damage" video at just over 3 seconds in length."

Kick Ass, Die Young

Less is More
Stay Pure
Stay Poor

Music was my life, music brought me to life and music is how I will be remembered long after I leave this life. When I die there will be a final waltz in my head that only I can hear.
