How many of you enjoy these movies as much as I do? I have to say that I am a fan of these movies to such extent as to have action figures hanging in my bedroom's walls, buying the first three movies in original DVDs (the next three are coming soon), having the "Clone Wars" episodes in VHS, memorizing lines of the movies and owning some comic books from the new episodes.

I went to watch the second movie, which is the fifth, in the theaters with my sister's ex husband and that is when I got hooked by the series. Before that, I never had a curiosity for the movies and now that I look back I don't know why I didn't get into them earlier.

Then the episode three, Revenge of the Sith came in. I have been waiting ages for this movie and, when the chance came, I went to see it at the theaters in that same day it released at 12:00 AM (in spite that I had a test for my University at 7:00 AM that same day). It was such a grim experience to watch that movie along with so many fans of the series. They were all dressed as Darth Vader or as Jedi Knights and when things that had an impact to the fans, as the first breath of Darth Vader, we would be screaming until death of the emotion. Damn, they should present all the movies at the theaters again!

Some people think that the newest movies, the episodes for the first to the third movie, are a disgrace for the older movie but I have to disagree. In my opinion these movies are as good as the old ones and they still maintain that old Star Wars feeling in them. We all love Jar Jar Binks, don't we?

Join me all of you my apprentices and padawans!

Anyway, that is just me and a few million others that love all the movies. Just tell us what you think about the movies.

All hail George Lucas! :[

Oh, did you spot Daniel Craig in the film? I didn't.

Found out after I saw the film, that the Bond was in it. Did you spot Ewan McGegor's voice? I didn't.

Nope. Don't remember seeing Obi-wan and Yoda in that scene, either.

Apparently a new Star Wars game gives away a spoiler you're not supposed to find out untill the next film.

So, I just saw the new thing. Must say I'm not a huge fan of SW, though I can enjoy the movies.
This one was entertaining but not much more. Seems they came up with the story in 2 minutes (the whole plot and character details seemed very underdeveloped... but that isn't SW's strongest point anyway) and Kylo Ren did nothing to me. He looked cool and all during the first few minutes but after I was just hoping he died

Verdict: Meh.

I read that the spoiler was misquoted, so maybe not true though I see a possibility. If finally not, something along the lines will be for sure. It's too obvious!

Well the new star wars isn't perfect, but I think most will agree is still better than all three of the prequels, which range from average to complete shit, TFA is pretty good IMO, but I cant put it on the same level as the originals.

pretty accurate considering TFA is nearly NW beat for beat.

enjoyed it more than the prequels, actually liked some of the characters, just wish they could move away from fucking death stars... 3 of 4 flicks now.

I guess they probably don't know how to raise the stakes above something that can destroy planets. Maybe they should have focused on a smaller scale plot rather than something on the scale of the original trilogy, I don't know what that would be though, regardless it was enjoyable enough, and the littlle kid in me was smiling as I watched it at the movies.

Finally finished watching The Clone Wars.
It was full of ups and downs, with some really great and interesting arcs, and some painfully bad ones in every single season somehow.
However, the real highlight were those last 4 episodes. Without spoiling anything, all I can say is HOOOLY SHIT
They might just be my favorite thing from the whole star wars universe besides episode 5 and the Kotor games, and now I wish the team who took care of those episodes could do its own version of Revenge Of The Sith, there's incredible potential there and better writing could seriously make this movie amazing, but that's probably never going to happen :')

I wish Warner Brothers had bought Star Wars, instead of Disney. Then they might've turned some of the pre-Disney books into animated straight to dvd movies, like they do with their superhero stuff.
Imagine the Thrawn trilogy, X-Wing series or Legacy Of The Force series as animated films.

I've gone through several phases when dealing with the whole debauchery of Star Wars in the hands of Disney: George is to blame, shouldn't have sold > Disney didn't look that bad when he sold it > even if he didn't sell Star Wars, the IP would have been bought eventually after George's passing and nothing could actually prevent what happened to Star Wars to inevitably happen again, etc.

But I've settled into the final position that:

George Lucas should have ended the the Star Wars story by ending the Universe in an epic battle that leads everyone to become Force ghosts and join the Force so that no sequels could ever be made.

Horrible prequels could always be made, but at least there would be something final that no horrible sequel could ever escape from.

After watching the trailer for The Acolyte, which is set 100 years before The Phantom Menace, I actually have a small glimmer of hope that it will be quite good and that Disney doesn't obliterate it like with everything else Star Wars related they've touched recently. First two episodes are already released but I'll wait for the whole series to be out and then binge it.

I found Andor, which in general had good reviews from both fans and critics alike, to be extremely boring with very few action scenes. Sure, I don't want the ridiculous fights from The Book Of Boba Fett (even though Fett riding the rancor was pretty cool). One thing speaking in favour of The Acolyte is that there seems to be a lot of lightsabers and use of the force.

Used to be a huge fan back in the early 2000's when all the good games were there. After Disney bought SW I was pissed off and annoyed at first, but slowly lost all interest. All the new stuff is so irrelevant to me I don't even feel anything. They're just another lame and desperate attempts to milk that sweet DEI and ESG money. If you know anything about that political and monetary garbage you know what to expect, and it's most likely not a quality product but a clumsy mess filled with all the politically correct cliches. They're not that dependent on the audience anymore, so they don't need to care about the quality.

I don't think there's a movie that has impacted me more than A New Hope. I think I was 7 when I saw it the first time and was blown away and even today I think that one along with Empire Strikes Back is pure movie magic. A lot of the games in the 90's and early 00's were also a lot of fun. I also liked the prequel trilogy, okey Attack of the Clones was quite rough but Phantom Menace got a lot of unnecessary hate.

It's the same here. I was so hyped when Disney bought it as I thought they would be able to expand and also having the money to make the most of the franchise. Sadly the sequel trilogy was abysmal and the things that followed have not been better. The only exception is of course Rogue One and Andor, both stunning. Disney just doesn't seem to know what made SW so special.. the tone is all over the place, the lore is uninteresting and for some reason they always manages to make the galaxy feel so small. With that said there were also a lot of garbage under George Lucas rule as well. So yeah.. I don't like SW under Disney but on the other hand if we get something like Andor once in a while I guess it's not a major disaster.

Changing the ending to the Apocalypse novel so the baddie wins would essentially do that. Though that'd then mean Mercy Kill doesn't happen.
