Born in Osaka, Ohmura began piano lessons aged 3. He took up acoustic guitar at 11, moving onto electric guitar at 14. In 2002, he enrolled in the Guitar Institute of Technology Deluxe (GIT-DX1) at the Osaka MI Japan School of Contemporary Music, going to release his debut solo album in 2004.
