Just a great album.
I love the symphonic elements they brought.
This beats a lot of pure symphonic metal bands with its hands tied.

I dont know why they went from great production to crap. You can barely hear the drums & the bass at all. Other than those flaws, a good album for symphonic. They should stick down this road. Too bad the singer quit the band, he was the reason why i got into them on "Mortal Mind Creation", which i think is their best album.

Personally I loved celesty from the start because of bad ass and super fast double bass, but in this album they fused it with awesome symphonic elements. Best album yet, it's good to see that some bands actually improve with every new album. I'm actually happy they're looking for a new vocalist, I never liked him too much personally, some of the things on MMC just sounded terrible vocal-wise.

Actually there was a vocalist that was with the band that quit before MMC that wsa a lot better. I am glad they have a new vocalist because the guy on MMC sucked.

I know it's a matter of tastes but I can't see how people can find such cheesy flowermetal music bad ass. It has nothing rough whatsoever. I would understand a comment like that about Blind Guardian's early stuff, Persuader, old Iced Earth or Iron Savior but not about a flowermetal band like Celesty.

I agree with you on vocals, however. The singer was awful. But I must say I have a general dislike for PM singers. Imo, the modern too-clean too-overpolished production that plague this genre these days doesn't help either. If the guitars and bass were louder and rawer (drums don't need to be louder, they're already way too loud in PM, to the point it's often a huge annoyance, especially the snare - you can hardly follow the riffs because drums disturb you all the time) and vocals lower in the mix, the flaws in vocals would be much less apparent. Some reverberation in the sound would greatly help too.

And you say who can you trust I'll tell you nobody

Their was a different singer on their debut, i knew that. But on "Legacy of Hate" the one before MMC was the same singer. I prefered that singer ovr the debut singer.

But lets just hope the new singer is better than both combined

Opinions vary all around. I'm just a drum addict, so loud drums is actually a really good thing for me, and I'm not that big a growl fan so I don't mind the clean vocals in PM. However, this specific singer annoys the fuck out of me for some reason, though I will admit that he didn't do too bad with this album. I manage to follow the riffs regardless of the drum volume btw. Like in Wolf and raven where the drums are loud as fuck and you still get a lot of loud guitars.

And on a side note, I believe there's a purpose for every genre, which is why when I want rough music I listen to the new Exodus album, and when I want to listen to epic flower metal I'll give Vendetta a listen XD

Like this album the least of Celesty's albums to be honest. I don't think they've reached the quality of Reign of Elements :/
