Wind of Change is one the best ballads ever which has written by a rock band.

First time I heard it when it came out I liked it. Now it has been played to death, they even play the instrumental version in our Chinese restaurant. Please put it out of its misery now.

I disagree, their 70s ballads/slow(er) songs are much, much better.

The title track is an essential piece of good heavy metal. Very underrated...

I think this album is best known for its two stand-out ballads, Wind of Change and Send Me An Angel. Two very important pieces for me.

"Lust or Love", what a piece of song... great album...

Just for wind of change any one could rate this 10/10.

To my untrained ears there has always been something off with this album, it's like the songs have a muddy tempo, like the songs are played in 0,95 speed or something. It just doesn't sound right. The songs are also often way too long, reaching 5 minutes but they don't really contain anything to justify the lengths. It just gets worse every time I hear this album. The only exception is Send me an Angel and Wind of Change which are both beautiful and moving. I might even be generous giving this a 4.

I used to have the album on CD and I did listen to it a lot (also nice to drive to it), I don't know what you mean with it being "off".
I've always struggled with Wind of Change, but then again i rarely like whistling in songs. One could not escape the song back in the day, it got annoying really quick.

Also the song Money & Fame never did much for me either. At the time, they were going for the "Love at First thing " template. Until it didn't work anymore...

It was just something I noticed years and years ago when listening to it, before I hadn't notice it but now I can't unhear what I described. Without any proof I suspect the album is actually recorded a bit faster and then slowed down just a little to make it less "heavy" and more commercial or whatever. It's crazy talk but I would love to ask Schenker about it

Wind of Change is overplayed for sure but I still can appreciate it's beauty, if I hear it on the radio I won't change the channel.
