The word "djent" has been on lots of lips recently. Fans, haters, and unbelievers have a word or two regarding what apparently is a growing branch of the metal scene, "accidentally" referred to after an onomatopoeia. Whatever is your opinion on this, it's undeniable that there is a rather talented group of bands revolving around the concept of taking Meshuggah's legacy to further extents, and TesseracT is one of the first bands of the pack that have caught the attention of a considerable amount of ears by pursuing this task.

I love this album. Never gets old for me and Daniel Tompkins has such a crazy good, dynamic voice. Every song here is a gem. This band is really the pinnacle of the "djent" scene.

Definitely my favorite Terreract album, especially the tracks Part 6: Origin and Eden. This one does have screams unlike their later releases so if you're more of a metal person this is the album I expect you'd like the best. Their later stuff is meh to me for the most part.

Giving this a listen after rather long time, forgot how good this was. One of the few bands that does djenty prog-metal right.

This is a good album, no doubt, but it's just too long. With the instrumental versions it runs near two almost two hours.
