Damn! This came out of the blue and trampled me in a split second; the hit was so hard that I have troubles remembering my girlfriend's name! What the hell is this? It's just one of the best releases of 2004, if not the best album of Death Metal released in 2004, Arsis (musical term meaning "silence") are from the United States, but don't let that fool you, this guys play like pros! The first time I heard this album, it sounded incredible to me. Second time, pretty good. 3rd, just average and kind of "fake", if you know what I mean.

Listening to this for the first time in a good 3 or so years, and I gotta say the riffs are as familiar as yesterday. A testament to the strength of the melodies.
