Recorded and produced in winter 2006Re-released on Wod Ván on November 19th 2010 as double 12" vinyl, including an A2 poster.
Also sold as show edition on the release gig in Aachen, Germany in a bundle with the vinyl version of the demo in a special carton box.

It took me less than thirty seconds to realize that this album is special. The opening psychedelic passage that bounces purposefully throughout the duration of the intro sets the tone for what is an amazing journey through one of the most unique black metal albums I've ever heard. With Einblick In Den Qualenfall, Verdunkeln have created a masterpiece of immense atmosphere that tickles me in all the right places each time I give it a listen. Read more ›› |

Wow, what an absolutly fantastic album. I listened to it 6 months ago and found it just a good+. It is definitely an excellent+  Also, big lol at last.fm for calling it depressive black. I am not an expert in depressive black but seriously, this album is one of warmest BM albums I've ever heard.

This is honestly one of the most intriguing psychedelic black metal releases I've ever listened to. It's so hypnotizing, eerie and trippy. There's some excellent tracks especially "Im Zwiespalt" and "Der Herrscher" like the above comment stated, but "Die Saat Der Klinge" is a really great track too which has Burzum written all over it.
