Board Up The House is one of the most impressive genre bending albums I have heard in a long time, blending progressive/technical metal and electronic. It's catchiness is countered by its abrasiveness to create a wonderful symbioses.

This album would more accurately be classified as something along the lines of Melodic Progressive SynthPop Mathcore. It varies from their older material significantly, while still being groundbreaking. While the influence of grind is still there, the melodies seem to carry themselves over the occasional blurs of noise that Grindcore can sometimes become much more than their previous releases.

Absolutely mindblowing album. There's nothing else like this out there. Believe me, I have searched. Many bands search for a fusion of metal and electronica, but few, if any, achieve a symbiosis like this. This, to me, is a landmark work with nowhere near the amount of attention it rightfully deserves.

AMAZING. Hits that perfect sweet-spot for being innovative and full of awesome musicianship while still being consistently enjoyable start to finish.

Genghis Tron strikes me as one of those bands whose fans classify them a certain way not because of what they sound like, but by popular opinion/what the band say they play. I can hardly hear any grindcore in here at all - maybe Converge-style metalcore, but no grind. Or maybe I don't know grindcore well enough, who knows.

Well, whatever it is they play, it's pretty good. It's one-of-a-kind and holds your attention to the whole album, but I wouldn't go all the way and call it a masterpiece/modern classic/AOTYAY. I can see it staying in my library for a long time, but wouldn't miss it if it somehow disappeared.

China was a neat
This album is clearly more song-oriented and for lack of a better word, core-ish. Doesn't mean its bad though. You still get cybergrind at its best. But the vocals kinda get more in the way for me and the last song kinda drags a bit as well. Still friggin' good stuff. Too sad they're disbanded now.

I forgot the name of a Samael clone from Austria (now I know it's Astaroth) and searching for the style "cyber" got me here.
This is some weird stuff. The video for Endless Teeth is quite funny, the rabbit's tombstone made me lol...
Just found that CD for a couple of bucks somewhere and asking myself right now if it's worth the money...

As great if not better than the previous one. Holy shit these guys are nuts. The balance of electronica and grindcore/metal is better on this one though.
The previous one feels more savage and reckless but this one has a more focused sense of urgency and lots of energy.

These two albums are definitely something I'm going to revisit a lot now.

This album is totally bonkers but it's bloody fantastic The cyber effects are so unique to grindcore I wasn't quite sure how I would take to this album, but I actually took an instant liking to this sound and style which fits perfectly with the crazy song structures. It's so funky and melodic, yet heavy and hard hitting, and I really like the clean vocals too. They did an amazing job a terrific effort in this one, especially with the style not being my usual taste
