42 SONGS! WTF! This is gonna be really monstously epic if he's got everything right. Have to see how many are real songs and how many are gonna be interludes/instrumentals. Nevertheless, he's got me excited with the constant updates...

Aryen wrote that he did just the 4 "epics", then he was forced to divide 'em in parts due to CDs format. It's 89 minutes of music in total.

Thanks for the info. Its gonna be good I guess then, since it's just 4 songs he has written.

Am I the only one who hopes for the tracks to be separated into sections and not into phases?

I prfer to have 42 tracks with carefully engineered emptyness between them (without cuts, that is), than 4 tracks of 24 minutes each, annoying to navigate to the sections I most enjoy/want to listen.

I hope the tracks are the sections and not the phases...

I think you'll be satisfied, Aryen told that the 42 tracks are divided, but the listener won't notice the gap between one and another. That should mean that you can both search for your favourite mini-track or listen to the full suite

I understand that, but I usually never look at the track names while listening to most albums, and I just keep the count and if i find any song getting really stuck in my head I ll later take a look at the track number and the get the title.

So Its gonna be really hard for me to search for the individual track and remembering the track titles is gonna be really difficult for me since the tracks titles here aren't very unique either.

If Arjen's done this right, this will be one hell of an album. He'll have satisfied both the people who want to hear the long epics, yet at the same time will have quenched the thirst of those who prefer the shorter, more individual songs at the same time.
