With Byron gone, the band lost something. Minus Hensley it's just not Heep! Nevertheless, this once the guitarist (Box) was able to assemble a decent album by drafting in some pro's and including some well-chosen obscure recent cover versions.

Not bad or good. Could be easily worse, like some other/later UH albums. IMO this songwriting is mostly too repetitive and doesn't really encourage further listening in the future. Hence I see this pretty much as a disposable album.

Despite this having better production, better singer and the band sounds like they're having more fun I still prefer Conquest. This one opens up great with Too Scared to Run and Chasing Shadows but then there's too much mediocre 80's AOR songs, luckily at the end they pick up the quality a bit. I however prefer the Sloman version of Think it Over.
