Bassist Andrew Glover says: "'Sewer Mouth' is a song about people who try so hard and go out of their way to be inspiring when, behind their veils and fronts, they are often worse human beings than those that they are trying to inspire and mold. In your lifetime, you have without a doubt come in to contact with this type of person, always talking up a storm of bullshit. To me, this song is kind of a 'we see you, but you're not fooling anyone' message to those people."
Glover continues: "Our friend Vincent Bennett of The Acacia Strain was nice enough to help us out on this track. We knew when it was recorded that if we had something negative to say about frauds and fakes, Vincent probably had something to say, too."
