I was just reminiscing about some old music and thought about my first car stereo:

car: 82 Nissan Sentra (red hatchback, rusted body, 1.5l engine, top speed 60mph, can't open driver door from outside, i.e. piece of shit)
stereo: Realistic 40W receiver with AM/FM and cassette player
amp: 100W Realistic stereo amp installed under passenger seat
speakers: 2 100W Pioneer box speakers sitting loosely in the hatchback, 2 40W door speakers bought 2nd hand.

Anyone else have archaic technology use in their past?
