Cauldron - New Album Artwork, Tracklist Revealed
Canadian metallers Cauldron recently confirmed that they will release their fourth studio album, In Ruin, on January 8th via The End Records. High Roller Records will make the album available in Europe later on January 29th. The cover artwork for the album has now been unveiled and can be seen below alongside the song titles.
Comments Cauldron's frontman Jason Decay: "We wanted a basic, straight-to-the-point cover without going totally Metallica 'Black' album; something that catches your eye when flipping through the record bin. I saw a decrepit and eerie looking statue hovering in a doorway upon the In Ruin title. We expressed this to our friend Squid (who did the artwork), and I guess you could say it's a cross between 'Poltergeist', 'Alice In Hell' and 'Intravenus De Milo'?!"
Tracklist:
01. No Return / In Ruin
02. Empress
03. Burning At Both Ends
04. Hold Your Fire
05. Come Not Here
06. Santa Mira
07. Corridors Of Dust
08. Delusive Serenade
09. Outrance
The band has also shared an old video. Years ago, they attempted to shoot a video for "Into The Cauldron". Thanks to some recent advances in video technology (and the help of good friend Craig Rose down at ROSE Enterprises) they were able to salvage the footage from the archives and piece together what they shot.
