Finnish bringers of chaos and destruction, black metal act Sargeist have announced a big line-up change in the band as 3 members left. Bassist Perttu Pakkanen, drummer Jani "Horns" Rekola as well as long-time vocalist Marko "Hoath Torog" Saarikalle all quit. That leaves founding member Shatraug and guitarist VJS. According to the remaining members, the band will return this year with a new line-up and album.

The band commented: "New year, new beginnings... Time for change has come and with it Torog, Horns and Vainaya step aside from the cult. To avoid any speculation and pointless rumours, there is no drama or bad blood involved in this decision. Sargeist will return during 2016 with a new line-up and a new release. More information will be revealed when time is due. Do not ask."
