Gwar - Ragnarök

For me this is a stronger record than the previous GWAR efforts, even compared to "America..." and "Scumdogs...". There's a lot of experimentation going on here, but it's kept consistent and enjoyable all the way through, signifying the band were at a creative high here. Also, 'Meat Sandwich' was my first ever GWAR song, and still one of my favourites. Aside from that song, album highlights would be the title track and 'Stalin's Organs'.

I find this album both funny and with solid metal performance. Songs like the sickening "The New Plague" ,the filthy "Dirty Filthy", the pulverizing "Crush, Kill, Destroy" and even the slower None But The Brave are my favorites here.

I always have enjoyed this album. It’s diverse, it’s entertaining and the songs are quite decent. I actually play this one on a regular basis because it’s so different from “regular” metal. This album also proceeds the time when gwar really went off the tracks with their albums
