Haken - Debut New Official Video
Now that Haken's new album, Affinity, hit stores via Inside Out Music, the London-based progressive metal band celebrated that by premiering a new video for the track "Earthrise". You can catch the band on tour in Europe this month and the next. But right now you can enjoy the deliciously catchy tune "Earthrise" right here.
The band had this to say about the new video and album release: "Earthrise is definitely one of the more joyful, upbeat and colourful songs on Affinity so we wanted to have some fun with this video. Miles at Crystal Spotlight pulled it out of the bag again and the visuals he's created hopefully add a new dimension to a song that's already proving to be quite popular with our fans!"

One of the key tracks of Affinity, IMO; just because of Ross' excel vocal parts.

"Earthrise is definitely one of the more joyful, upbeat and colourful songs on Affinity." Ha the entire album is pretty much upbeat for me; then again, so are the entire band in my music library. I am slowly getting used to Ross' vocals though, at first I just thought of him as a downgraded Einar Solberg lol.

The song is nice, but god Ross is really embarrassing in the video. But I just love how Charlie doesn't seem to give a fuck about what's going on.
