Epic. A real journey to what once was. This album sounds like it is from 1994, not 2014. A must for every fan of Anacrusis.

Revisiting this album now and just... holy shit. If you've ever heard epic thrash metal. I wish he'd make many more records. There is just so many awesome songs here, it's a bit overwhelming at first even.

The first track really sets you up for disappointment. It's this display of compositional grandeur, followed by tracks of solid progressive thrash that don't even come close to the extravagance of the first track.

Edit: it really picks up after a few tracks. Some really epic moments all over the album. The length doesn't bother me to be honest. Could easily listen to the whole thing again.

Whoa, a 2hr 37min progressive thrash double album rated 8.9? I'm gonna have to book tomorrow afternoon out for this. Watch this space.

EDIT: Screw it, I'm gonna tackle this beast now!

EDIT 2: Wow, that was an experience. An impressive release for sure, especially from a 1-man solo project. I will certainly be revisiting this in the future. (The latter half of the 2nd disc is especially impressive).

A very, very overlooked prog-thrash gem from the mastermind behind Anacrusis. I wonder how many similar overlooked 2000's thrash gems are still around just waiting to be discovered.
