That was not bad. But in the previous album the teaser was good. The rest was weak...
Edit: really liked tracks 2,6,7,8. The rest was again extremely weak. They should maintain their work on one album in many years rather than making this kind of releases.
Yeah, this is better than Death Walks with Me. While it's a bit too samey in the first half, halfway into the nearly 10-minute "Sanansaattaja" the album starts to get more life into it. I especially like "Pedon veri".
I have a huge desire about getting another album like Absence from Noumena but i have to be contented with this album. Not bad album though, 3-4 nice songs so far. I don't understand the lyrics but the atmosphere of the album is kind of sad but not bad.
This is the first time I hear Noumena and based on your comments, Absence has to be amazing, because I think this is quiet good and still is receiving some negative comments

Yes, every melodeath listener should listen that album waaaaay before dying, cause they will need time to listen it again and again.
It still has touch, but band somehow decide to twist all minds and write it in Finish, what is a bit harder get idea and lyrics, but don't change it concept

If you like Finnish melancholy melodeath a la Insomnium or Omnium Gatherum, you should definitely check out Absence (if you haven't already done so), it's really one of the better albums to come out of the sub-(sub-)genre.
As far as I'm concerned, this is the only album I've heard from the band aside from that one. Personally, the extreme vocals were never that great even on Absence, but they're really a bit messy here, although the female vocals act as a nice counterpart when used. Musically, it's not a great departure from that album, which means it's pretty decent, although not that much especially stands out. I quite like Kirouksen Kantaja and Roihu amongst others, but probably won't be rushing to check it out again

I found Absence really outstanding, one of my favorite albums. Thank you!
