Oh wow, I actually thought these guys broke up. They have a new vocalist so this might be an interesting record.

I was expecting something more powerful, with more creativity from a band that had 7 years preparing an album. Sadly they didn't deliver. It's not a bad album, there are some very good moments (especially some of the guitar solos), but most of the album is full of generic riffs and melodies like in Marching Masquerade for example (where the solo is amazing tho). I really wanted to like this release 'cuz I love Scandinavian metal, but it's too weak, it feels a bit rushed. Hopefully their next work will be the real return. The new vocalist has a lot of potential in bringing the band to the next level, because these guys would really deserve some more recognition.

This album is pretty good from start to finish and contains a 11 minute epic "Portrait On The Wall". The aforementioned & "Centenarian" are my favorite tracks.
