I wonder if they actually thought this was a smart move to get people to talk about the new album? Bad publicity is still publicity and all. Crazy tactics.

I also thought this could be the case. But then again, they released a new song/video today. And hell it's so shitty you won't be able to save this with all the publicity in the world.

It is shitty, but nothing beats the shittyness of their videos from Antiserum, particularly the one for Kommt Näher. Awful.

Please please end it. At least no more crappy music by this band in that case

"I think bands, especially the South American and Brazilian ones, should post their news in English because everybody can speak and understand it. Crematory should do the same and stop posting on Facebook in German. Eastern and Central European bands as well as Slavic speaking ones should also post news in English.

"Crematory's posts are often in German even though they are addressed to the international metal community. The band has fans from the 90s when their music was good, but these fans have now grown older and they have other obligations such as family, work, kids, extra-marital affairs and they also like going on fishing trips, so not enough money left to spend on music. The younger generation is not so keen on Crematory's style of music, hence the drop in sales. What can I say, it's a sign of the times."

Bands should be allowed to post any messages in their native language.
If you're too lazy or refuse to hit the "translate" on FB or copy the text to google translate you're probably more an ignorant fool than the band who refuses to post in English.

For your information..
English is only the 3rd most spoken language in the world.
1 = Chinese, 2 = Spanish.

And as for the Slavic (or German) languages.

You don't seem to be so bright yourself, since you have replied to the wrong post. You should quote Bad English instead of me, I personally couldn't care less about either Crematory or the language they use for their posts.

I like Crematory, but asking people to pay more when they could pay less is simply irrational, economically speaking.
Times change, if you don't adapt, you will die out. Maybe the music industry, specially niches like metal, need to rebuild their strategy. I hope they survive this crisis, but the world is not over if they break up.

I think the tour is on. Just saw a post on Facebook page which is 19 hrs ago, urging fans to decide the set list.

I still remember many,many years ago the soul-touching impact of a "Tears of Time" video that made me rewatch it if not thousands,then hundreds of times at least up to this day..I highly doubt i will ever have motivation to watch "Kommt Naher","Missunderstood" or "Shadowmaker" for the second time...I love their music,even their newer albums have some decent songs,but the decline in quality is clear as day,and of course their statement and behavior isnt gonna help at all. Rather then anger i feel only sadness for one of the most original gothic/industrial band to walk this music road for the last few years..Last year my sister chose for her wedding dance "Perils of the wind",so yeah,thats how much we both love Crematory,but i wonder if they can ever recover and make songs like Unspoken,Fly,Moonlight,Lost in Myself etc again..
