Music is cool, but this band looks like they can go and play live concerts in the Orthodoxia churches and scare those people in the Simpsons movie

I think that's pretty much their gimmick

At least they're pretty authentic in it, since more than half of the band is made of Romanian immigrants in the UK.

That image works, a bit batushka I supose, but more men and a bit more grimm faces, if i can say so.

We opened for them at a gig in January, it's very much their gimmick. It was a fun gimmick though - I enjoyed their set, particularly the guitarists tremolo-ing for about 40-odd minutes straight with the most stoic facial expressions underneath the face paint and the vocalist giving off a 'satanic priest giving a sermon' vibe

Sounds hilarious. I'm actually surprised I have never heard of them until today. They were supposed to perform at a festival here, but we all know how that ended up.

If they manage to come again when all this is over and there's no sticky clashes, I'd definitely give it a peak, they're possibly my favourite band I've played a show with so far. I really dig the first track of this album, although their sound could probably do with a bit more variety across a full album's span
