Brutal death metallers Defeated Sanity have released a tribute to the late Erik Lindmark with their cover of Deeds Of Flesh's "Hunting Humans". Erik Lindmark was the CEO/founder of Unique Leader Records and vocalist/guitarist/founding member of Deeds Of Flesh. He passed away exactly two years ago after battling with Sclerosis.




Here's what the band had to say about this tribute:
"Erik Lindmark and Deeds Of Flesh were very influential to Defeated Sanity's sound. They pushed boundaries with twisted structures, increased barbarity and a more extreme, uncompromising mindset when compared to the bands of the early nineties.

"Recently, after his passing, we were asked to play a cover song for the Party San fest in Germany. We could think of no better song than 'Hunting Humans'. When recording The Sanguinary Impetus the following year we decided that, as a tribute to Erik and DoF, we wanted to also record this song.

"RiP to a legend of Brutal Death Metal!"
