Due to recent fire that destroyed (almost) their entire studio, gothic doom metal act A Dream Of Poe have been forced to postpone the release of their next full length effort. Despite this major setback, the band put out a music video for the new single called "The Lament Of Phaethon".




Mastermind Bruno Santos comments: ''Hello my dear friends and A Dream Of Poe fans. Just some words and update for you all. Unfortunately, due to a major fire on Wednesday, I lost all my possessions. There's a 1% hope that something in the studio survived, fingers crossed! Because of that, I just marked on Bandcamp all our physical works as sold out as most likely I will be unable to fulfil any orders that might come.

"Needless to say that our next album will take a little bit longer to be released. Anyway, there's not much I can do now.

Our new song and music video "The Lament Of Phaethon" was released yesterday. It was mixed and mastered by Daniel Cardoso (Anathema) and the video was created by S&N Intercut Films.

I had some nice words ready for you, but as this post is already way too big, I just wanted to thank you for the support throughout these years, and be sure that whenever possible, WE WILL BE BACK!
