Good album, I like song in Swedish , less gothic maybe in opening parts , more Symphonic metal but not in best level. Band lives up on its name.

Compositionally fantastic, not sure about the vocalists tbh, but that's more a personal taste thing, they are clearly talented. The quicker sections are amazing and the fade to the choral/orchestral ending of "Time" is lovely. Will give some more listens, this seems to be one of the 'hits' in one of the most hit and miss subgenres.

Probably not gothic from a musical perspective, but has the proper symphonic foundations gaining it merit, best feature of the orchestra would be the solo instruments (beginning of "Two Wolves").

Listened to this earlier today and I agree, the compositions are very nice but the vocals are a bit iffy at times. Symphonic metal's shaping up a lot better this year than last one, between Cathubodua, Far Beyond, Nocturna (I have the promo), The Lightbringer, Malphas and now this, as well as albums where symphonic elements are secondary (e.g. Myrath, Dark Oath)
