Rwake - To Release New Album In 13 Years

Experimental sludge/doom metal band Rwake is gearing up for a powerful return with the release of their first new album in over 13 years, The Return Of Magik, set to drop on March 14th via Relapse Records. The album was recorded at East End Sounds in Hensley, Arkansas, marking the group's first project since welcoming lead guitarist Austin Sublett into their lineup. A video for the new single and title track, "The Return of Magik," can be watched below.

Aborted - Post New Track Online

Belgian deathgrinders Aborted have release a brand-new single called "The Pain, Will Be Exquisite." A b-side from their latest 2024 release Vault Of Horrors, this standalone track draws inspiration from the 1992 horror film ‘Candyman‘. The guest-packed Vault Of Horrors took a similar approach, with each track honoring specific horror films that were favorites of the band.

Caliban - New Album In April; Reveal New Single

Long-running German metalcore act Caliban have released a new video for their new single “Back From Hell.” The song, which features Jonny McBee from The Browning, serves as the title track of the band’s fourteenth studio album, Back From Hell, which will be released on April 25th via Century Media Records. This record will the band’s first since recruiting bassist/clean vocalist Kenneth Iain Duncan last year.
