Currently on tour with Entombed, the band seem to have been touring non-stop. On this U.K. leg of the tour I managed to have a chat with the giant viking Johan Hegg about what it is like being a part of Amon Amarth. This is how it went:

I hope you got a beer. Anyhow, some interesting points brought up, like downloading and the popularity of metal in Scandinavia which is often overlooked. I like the way how he sees France, Belgium and Holland as Soutern Europe.

R.I.P Mike sad such think heppened in my ''home town'' Iron Maiden in Gothenburg Ullevi aka Scandinavium Stadion was 82 000 people in 2005 It feals like Odin him self bought Harley and put Dead Head or Charlie on letetr west hehhe and ride in open roads n seas First interwiew wher member drink beer XD I agree about Stockholm's in summertime, but Norrbotten's Lulea area is best where to be in summertime , midnight sun, valhalla, valkiries, also place called Vietas and Sturfosern(hope type wright) is where to be in summertime, yeah maybe ebst video interwiew in site , because I love this band

Nice interview, Baz. You're improving with each one. Nice to hear that my favourite saga, Egil Skallagrimson's, is one of Johan's favourites. I'd love to hear an Amon Amarth concept album based on it. A Bloodshed Over Bochum DVD would be most welcome, as well.
