December 06, 2010
Just a week into Helloween's massive European tour supporting their "7 Sinners" album, one of their two dates in the UK sees them at the Hard Rock Hell festival in Wales. Before the show, I got to have a lengthy talk with Markus about everything from writing songs on the toilet to having a look back through the years at some of the strange and difficult times. Have a look below for the encounter.

Part 1

Part 2

Thanks to Markus for his time, and all that helped set it up.
Conducted and edited by Barry Anderson.
Recorded by Glenn Searing.

"So eh, Markus, are you metal?" I bet from the moment you knew you'd be doing that interview, you were dying to say that to him. hehe

@The Shape: It looks like whatever it is he's wearing under the t-shirt is also something of Helloween... could be wrong though. lol

Andi said on stage in 2006 he was a bit weary playing in England. So I asked Roland (ex-Helloween) when I interviewed him with Masterplan if there was some reputation, and he told me some stuff.

Yeah, this is actually a really cool interview. I went ahead and got a hold of the album just to see. He seems real excited about it and I like to see that.
