Spazmocity is a melodic Death/Black Metal band from Stockholm [Sweden]. Since 1997 and their first demo "The Fading Of Life", this young band used to play a real brutal music but without forgetting a melodic aspect in their compositions. The result is very convincing, and their last demo "Storm Metal" is here to confirm it.

"Storm Metal" was recorded at Necromorbus studio with the producer Tore Stierna. If I must talk about the production, I can just say that for a demo, we have here a very good work. The sound is not irreproachable but all the same the general quality is good. Maybe sometimes the voice of P. Emanuelson is too weak, but believe me, it's not a real problem for this album.
Another thing, this demo [I talk here for all reviewers] contains all the things you need, pictures, tracks in mp3, lyrics, first demos etc. Maybe you can think that is not very important but believe me I can just applaud this excellent work? If all bands could do the same as well, it would be just perfect.

For the rest, "Storm Metal" is an excellent album of "brutal" metal. The 3 tracks [I don't talk about the first track, which is just a melodic intro] are very aggressive and with a lot of powerful and fast guitar riffs. It's well-composed with good lyrics and the general quality of this album is more than correct.
Maybe this album may be too much violent for some people, it's true, but if you like Death or Black Metal, I'm sure you will find it excellent.
The musicians are surely good and the very good voice of the singer is perfect for that style of music.

Nothing more to say, this band must be known. It's not perfect but it's a demo and I'm sure that their first album will be excellent. Try Spazmosity if you want something that'll give you a big kick in the nuts. They are good and they now deserve to emerge from the underground scene. I'm waiting for their first real album now
