Most people don't know this band, but let me tell you something, Fleshcrawl is one of the most Brutal bands out there, formed in 1991 so they have a lot of Old School elements, this is their fifth full length album, a good release, but as always this album does not come near The band's older work.

"As Blood Rains From The Sky?" starts with a grim intro, like a march or something (yes like Morbid Angel did in Domination) and then after exactly 2 minutes your speakers are in real danger, Brutal music indeed, fast riffs and great growls, the album is good yes, but here comes the first problem, after the fifth track I actually thought?"man I swear I've heard that song before?" (believe me, check the little intro in "Embraced by evil" and then compare it to the one in "Under The Banner Of Death" and then try "Swords Of Darkness", that example is not the only one I found.)so the album starts to sound a little repetitive, I am not saying that the album is the same fucking thing over and over again, but it lacks of good changes, bridges and all those things, in fact there are some songs with the same beat from the beginning to the end.

The best song is unquestionably "The Dark Side Of My Soul" not as fast as the other songs, so this brings technicality to the album, this song has the best solo in the entire album, the most incredible prelude, a great ride (also the entire drumming is very good, that double-bass is breathtaking), crushing vocals and incredible music in general. Another great song is "Feed The Demon's Heart" but only for that incredible intro with a weird sound, the rest of the song is very similar to the other songs in "As Blood Rains From The Sky?"

The production is really good, clear as water, the artwork is hideous and fucking boring (only the cover is cool), so anyway this album is good, but nothing impressive and that shit about the tracks sounding so similar to each other sucks.
