Human Mincer comes around with another Brutal Death Metal album, you know the drill, gory cover art, spooky band name and "evil" song titles, nothing new here.
I was with all the intention of giving this some average score, but I couldn't. I just couldn't do it. This record is actually very good! Death Metal very well produced, instruments sound tight and songwriting is quite superior also!
Yes, you have the same elements, insane riffing, low guttural growls, rabid drumming etc BUT (oohh, THE but) this guys really know how to put together a Death Metal song.
For you not familiar with Human Mincer, I could name some important influences like Suffocation, but that would be exaggerating. Human Mincer did a really good work with this album, and that's all you need to know.
From the 8 tracks on the album, I found "Devoured Flesh" and "Ghost Of The Past" my favorite ones. "Reposes On Blood" wasn't bad either.
So, I'm not rating this album high to prove anything to you! (I bet that thought went through your heads right?), actually, this album is very good. And if you think I'm lying, well, just read all the comments below from the Death Metal freaks here at the site.
