Saxon are horribly underrated. But Manowar? I find them to be immensely overrated...

Saxon horribly underrated? I would say they are rated as they should be.

Nand tbh Accept also aren't underrated and as for Anvil, only albums nr 2 and 3 are underrated but now they are overrated.

I don't think so...

As for Anvil, thanks to that movie about them a couple of years back, they are now overrated. An average band, who for most of their career, have made very average music.

Saxon as well for that matter and are quite revered over the world. So, NO they are not underrated.

Nope, Saxon are a better band than Anvil. You may disagree, but that's my opinion. They may well be, but I feel they are not as revered as they should be. So, they are underrated. In my eyes at least.

They may be overrated worldwide, but I swear even us Canadians are oblivious to any bands called Anvil.

We're too busy with Celine Dion and Justin Bieber.

I think most people, regardless of nationality, are oblivious to bands called Anvil, or Saxon for that matter.

And I think in most countries, most of the population is too busy with mainstream pop artists of the day to know anything about metal bands. So hey, 99% of metal bands are underrated, viewed in that light!

My favorite, relatively obscure bands are underrated because I deem them so and you can't argue against my will.

At least we're an island and can be quarantined. You guys will take both Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa down with you. Maybe we should all move to Antarctica.

That was the most original post I've seen in years.

Also Saxon is by no means underrated.

Also Saxon is by no means underrated.

I am still puzzled by anyone who thinks so as well. It's like saying Accept and Manowar are underrated, also totally ridiculous.

Actually saying Manowar is underrated is much more absurd than stating that Saxon is.

(where's that homophobic Manowar picture when you need it?)

On absurdity level it would be 1. Manowar, 2. and 3. equal Saxon and Accept.

that Manowar picture can be found in the Manliness thread
