Yet there isn't any black in Soulside Journey. It is pure death metal.

I dunno, I think everything in between TH and Sardonic Wrath is mostly guff, and only Circle the Wagons of the new era is worth listening to. To be honest even Under a Funeral Moon is a bit pointless. Why listen to that when you can have either album before and after it?

Gotta disagree here. I think the three classics have all differences both small and huge.

My score agrees with you but I can't remember the last time I listened to Under a Funeral Baboon. I just go straight to the other two it seems.

Absolutely, even if falling under the "trve kvlt" umbrella they have very distinguishable atmospheres.

Same goes with mid-era that always get dissed, yet having some of their most interesting material. I don't really understand when people say "it's the same thing all over again" or whatever, when the band is in constant evolution hardly repeating the same formula. Makes me wonder if they know the albums at all.

Hhahaah well, yeah that's a whole different discussion if some like it or not. I was just commenting on the pointless tag as there are more than enough differences in style and production to make it stand on its own.
Why don't you save a night and listen to it while you do another good deed... Like buying aticket or something.
Crazy idea, I know.

Words that go unspoken, deeds that go undone. Or something else profound.

I feel like you obnoxiously start jumping whenever you hear Fenriz/Darkthrone. Just calm your nerve down.

And you really need to go and give all Darkthrone records a go. You faulter a lot.

I gave all of them a go, but as Joe said most of them are quite forgettable records, so it's not surprising to mix them up sometimes.

Because he's a personality who doesn't worship everything about himself unlike rockstar-ish BMers.

I don't know him well at all, but he seems a bit pretentious to me. I'm not sure if I like him.
