I wouldn't put these two bands in a ranking, but then again that's me. Long ago, I discovered King Diamnd's music first and then years later Mercyful Fate's. I've always enjoyed KD more, with his theatrical concept albums, his storytelling. KD was a favorite band for me as a teenager...

I would put nearly every Kind Dimond record ahead of ehe Mercyful Fate ones. Only Time is a bit better then the weaker KD records. For me those are The Eye, Voodoo, House Of God, Abigail II and Give me your Soul. Them is my absolute favorite King LP.
