It's possible the only reason this EP is so good is because they cramped all the good early songs and just improved them until there was basically no more room for improvement, but regardless, 10 all the way.

"satan has taken his... tooooooooooAAAAAAAAAAAAAlll" - holy shit right there in the middle he hits the highest note i've ever heard any metal vocalist sing.

This is imo the best EP ever.

I think this may be my favorite Mercyful Fate release. It's certainly my most listened to one

One of, if not the best metal ep of all time without a question. Queensryche's self titled ep comes to mind as well, but that's a different realm of metal anyways. All killer, no filler, short but sweet and oh so evil. Hail the King!

A corpse without a Soul was Literally the first metal song I downloaded like ever! a classic.

Just met Michael Denner at his record store in Copenhagen and got him to sign a copy of this. Cool dude.

Have had this one on repeat the last few days and this is just pure perfection. 4 absolute classics on the same EP. The bass lines in Nuns Have no Fun and the hihat work in Devil Eyes is something I can't get enough of. I'm usually spares with my 10's but this one rightfully deserves it

Fantastic EP, 'A Corpse Without Soul' is especially great! 8.6/10 for me
