I like all of them, kinda ambivalent to some of them, but some of our common favs like Sermon, Dødheimsgard, and Fleshvessel are nice to see.

It's a style I generally like, but somehow no death doom album ended up in my list. The releases by The Crawling and Asphodelus were the ones that almost made it. I gave Fires In The Distance many listens, but each time it didn't appeal to me that much. I found the songs to drag longer than they should, more melodic/melodeath-like for my liking, the production sounded a bit off to me, and I am not a fan of the vocals. But I am clearly in the minority, because it has ended up in most people's lists. The cover art is superb, and I certainly appreciate the album, but it's just not for me.
