Machine Head: Best To Worst
Machine Head: Best To Worst
I first listened to Machine Head around 2006/07 time when I bought a copy of Burn My Eyes which was featured in Kerrang!'s top rock albums special feature. I hadn't listened to anything quite that heavy up to that point, and was entraced by the combination of groove, speed and memorability of their songs. I then picked up a copy of The Blackening when that came out after seeing the music video for Halo, soon after which they became one of my favourite bands. I actually ended up learning most of The Blackening on guitar and would play through it on a regular basis (much to my parents' and neighbours' delight!), this helped me improve my playing greatly and inspired the music I would go on to create in my own band later on down the line.
