Event information
Once again, the fourth edition of the biggest French extreme music festival will take place in the heart of the vineyard of Nantes. Hellfest 2009 is already being announced as the biggest Metal event ever to hit France. No less than 108 bands from across the globe will spread across four stages to play a three-day marathon of Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, Rock, Hardcore, Death Metal, Glam, Sludge, Doom, Black Metal, Grind, Thrash, Industrial, Progressive, Punk, and more. You'll also find our Extreme Market with more than 40 vendors, a tattoo parlor, various restaurants, a wine bar, and a lot of entertainers, including a ring with the best French wrestlers. All that in a well decorated and illuminated outdoor area near the fortified town of Clisson, with its fantastic heritage. We invite you to walk around the heart of the city, which will also offer more entertainment and expositions. The camp ground and its Metal Corner will constitute the best place to begin or continue the party all night long and maybe meet people… Concerts DJ Sets, and more!
Hellfest will be more than a series of concerts: it will be a nonstop party, a place to escape the tedium of our drab society and recharge your batteries with positive energy!
We strongly encourage you to buy your ticket as soon as possible, as space is limited! We have already sold three times as many tickets as we did last year at this time.
We promise you an event that will stay in your memories. If you were here with us in 2008, enough said. If you were not here last year, and still have never experienced this unique atmosphere, you know what needs to be done!

_*Where is the festival located? *_
There is an international airport called NANTES ATLANTIQUE AIRPORT, located at 30km from the festival grounds. A shuttle busses between this airport and the festival is running from Thursday June 18 and Monday June 22. You will find more information about flights:

_*Camp site:*_
The camping site is free and near to the festival!
The campsite doors open Thursday 18 June at 2pm upon presentation of your ticket. We will give you your festival bracelet and all you'll have to do is to set up your tent!
This campsite is only for those holding a 1 or 3 day pass!
A toilet-shower block will also be available.

| For those of us who are not lucky enough to go to Hellfest. Does anyone know if it will be streaming live. I know Download did and Wacken Open Air will be. I can not tell on the website if this one is. Can anyone let me know yes or no for sure? |
