Borknagar - Recording New Album, Add New Drummer

Finally some updates from Norwegian progressive black metallers Borknagar! They are finally back in the studio in order to record their 11th album, following up 2016's acclaimed Winter Thrice release. The new album will be once again mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studio (Opeth, Kreator, Amon Amarth, etc.) in March 2019 and is expected for a worldwide release via Century Media Records in fall of 2019.

Wolves In The Throne Room - Sign With Century Media Records

Century Media Records just announced a partnership with Wolves In The Throne Room and their own label Artemisia Records to release their upcoming albums in the world outside of North America. The band from Olympia, Washington just finished an U.S. tour with Behemoth and their new label mates At The Gates and will conquer Europe with the same package in early 2019. The atmospheric black metal band is already writing the follow-up to Thrice Woven.

Sacred Reich - Drummer Dave McClain Returns

As you probably remember, drummer Greg Hall was fired from Sacred Reich earlier this year after many years of service. He was replaced by Tim Radziwill at the time. Now, the Phoenix-based thrash veterans announce the return of former drummer Dave McClain to their ranks, following his departure from Bay Area metal outfit Machine Head last month after 23 years on the drum throne. Before joining Machine Head, McClain played drums for Sacred Reich for four years between 1991 and 1995.

Killswitch Engage - To Co-Headline US Tour With Parkway Drive

Killswitch Engage and Parkway Drive have announced a massive co-headlining US tour, dubbed 'Collapse The World'. Roadburn 2019 - Officially Sold Out

If you wanted to attend Roadburn's next year edition but haven't managed to get tickets for it yet, it's too late now because the Dutch festival is officially sold out! A few days ago, the organisers made the latest line-up announcement confirming Grails, The Exorcist GBG, URAN GBG and Fontän. Maalstroom will unite the dark forces of Dutch black metal for one special performance. There will also be separate performances from Laster, Turia, Terzij De Horde, Witte Wieven, Dodecahedron and Nusquama, Hexvessel (performing All Tree), a special collaboration between Aaron Turner (Old Man Gloom/Sumac), Will Brooks (dälek) and Dennis Tyfus titled Doolhof; Pharmakon, Twin Temple, Crowhurst, Crowhurst & Gnaw Their Tongues, Thor & Friends, Fauna, Coilguns, Bismuth, Wrong, Fotocrime and Lucy In Blue.

Plague Of Stars - Lineup Changes

Plague Of Stars is thrilled to announce that guitarist Aaron "Frodo" Caulfield (The Omega Sequence, ex-Witchden, ex-Echoes of the Fallen) will join the band replacing Nick Malbraaten, who shortly ago announced he needed to step down from the band to focus on family. Frodo will participate in the songwriting on the next album slotted to begin recording in March and will debut on stage with the band for their next show on February 16th.
