The new vocalist will be drummer and Ragnarok founder Jontho himself, and his place behind the drum kit on stage will be taken by Dauden drummer Malignant.

Death metallers Cannibal Corpse have a Russian tour scheduled to start at the beginning of October with eight shows in total in support of their new album A Skeletal Domain. But several Russian Orthodox Church activist organizations are trying to avoid that these shows take place according to RIA Novosti, among other sources. They have something against their lyrics, it seems, and are calling for a ban on the shows.

Gwar have introduced two members that will join them on the Eternal Tour this fall in search for Oderus Urungus. They are two different vocalists: Blóthar and Vulvatron. Blóthar; a fat, filthy, frozen space Viking, will take over as Gwar's lead vocalist. The role of the red-hot cybernetic spitfire known as Vulvatron is more mysterious. Both will feature prominently in the anticipated Eternal Tour, their first without charismatic founding member and lead singer Dave Brockie, who passed away in March.
