Most of this material destroys, it must've been a blast to hear it in 85 just two years after the release of Kill 'Em All. Having the bit more extreme version of speed metal combined with the almost teutonic thrash sounding vocals resulted in a pretty bad ass sounding music, and when it was executed properly, it's a treat to listen to. I think the EP was better but not by a huge margin; if this album was shortened by removing the weakest material, they would be both 10. So, without the biggest run-of-the-mill moments it is EXTREMELY enjoyable and competent release.

Best songs? I find most of them killer, maybe the duo of opening songs The Rack and Ordeal Of Death with The Enforcer and Torture In The Tower did impress me more than the rest.

edit: Some of the songs kind off fell off on subsequent listens hence I lowered the score; still a strong release but could have more killer stuff.
