Yes, great guitar right from the start. A bit more downtuned vocals, works fine. Mature is the worst cliche we have here, this actually sounds more mature in a good way.

...and after listening to the whole thing a couple of times it seems to me like this band only does good music,.Not very good or better and not average or worse, always good but nothing more than that imo.

I'd go Yaldabaoth and Zalmoxis, at least as far as black metal is concerned. This does seem to be getting a lot of positive attention though and your taste is usually pretty on point so I'll get to giving it a whirl soon.
