Quite an alright album in the genre of true metal of steele. The band sounds rather great on this album and the word "epic" is not wrongly added to them, but unfortunately the songwriting doesn't hit home big time; it's alright, but only rarely on this album is there real tier 1 heavy metal moments. "In The Fallout" is unarguably the strongest song here -- although the original is better -- but if covers don't count, then the most kick ass song is I Am HeavyMetal, a song that's truly an anthem of a true heavy metaller. I've spinned the album a few times, and while I won't call it disappointing, I'll still say it's somewhat forgettable and doesn't feel like a super essential listen. Still IMO it's slightly more recommended than not.

A strange kind of life
With Heavy Metal as wife
Spend time in my room
With Epic Metal and Doom
And in the deep of my soul
A heart of Rock 'n' Roll
----
My vision is augmented
