I didn't quite board the hype train with the debut, but hope to get into this one - if nothing else, it should be a firm contender for best artwork this year

I listened to 3-4 new songs that they played live about three weeks ago and they were very good. Then again, I really liked their debut and the new stuff sounds similar to that.

The debut is one of my personal top rated albums in the past decade, so my expectations are set very high for this one, I'm expecting a real cracker.

I really liked the debut but I will probably like this one even more. Given it two spins this morning and it's awesome. "Your Majesty" is a phenomenal song.

So I still don't love their sound overall in the way the other staffers do, but there's perhaps more here that appeals to me than on the debut. The song Συμπληγάδες in particular stands out - kinda feels halfway between Blind Guardian and Villagers Of Ioannina City

Great release as I expected, it's deliciously groovy and fun, and slightly heavier than the previous as well, but out of the two I still prefer the debut overall. "Συμπληγάδες" is the stand-out track for me also.

Like Andy above, I also prefer the debut, but this is very good, too. My favourite track is "Featherless", because it does everything recent Metallica are trying to do, but way more successfully.
The two t-shirts that they have made for this album are absolutely gorgeous, as is the cover art.

Coming from someone who didn't hear the debut, this album is excellent! I guess I will have to check the other one out since everyone seems to like it more.

Amazing album. A nice runner up for the great debut and almost just as great! Father Wind is probably one of my favorite songs this year

Mastodon worship. Nothing wrong with that. Good album.

Never heard of these guys, just gave them a spin as I was going through new releases. They've clearly got some novel stuff going on in their sound, it's a cut above - enough to make me come and leave a comment at least. I suppose it is Mastodon-y but not nearly as spastic. The sound is a bit stripped-down but I quite like that, it just sounds more like actual humans playing instruments.

It is Mastodon-ish, but leaves its true brilliant identity if you listen to their debut album closely.
This release, however, is still underwhelmed(comparing with a debut release) and have less gritter, punchier and stoner-ish flow to it.
And I've lost count of how many times I've listened "Συμπληγάδες". Amazing track.

As usual another great hard rock release by these guys. The outro to the watchers of Enoch is really good.
