Btw today would such artwork work?

It hardly worked back then. They had to change the artwork in most countries for it to be on display and there were several law suites for creating and distributing child pornography, however none were successful. As far as I know it was kind of a marketing ploy by the record label.

This is a filthy album, very heavy and raw. Uli does lead vocals on two tracks, not sure if it was the best idea, would have preferred Klaus. Picture Life is pure perfection with Ulis lead guitar all over and In Your Park is one of my favourite Scorpions ballads. With that said I would probably say it's my least favourite album of their 70's albums.

It really is quite shocking.

Yellow Raven is the hidden gem of the album.

Yes agree, however I don't like that the song seems to end right in the middle. Would love to have a longer outro solo

I think this is a great album. No big hits, but I'd say the average quality is very good. And that infamous cover art I think is the most ingenious marketing gimmick ever. It's just enough censored it's legal, but the mere fact that this thing exists and got out in the first place means people will always go back to it and give it free publicity forevermore, and in showbiz publicity means money. I think it was only yesterday when in Finland some activist group went spontaneously on a moral crusade against this album again, and suddenly people and mainstream media are talking about this. It never goes away.
