Will need another listen, got drawn into some of the later tracks quite well (particularly the Maze-Crown Of Lies double-header) but wasn't completely won over first time around

Sludge/doom under the filter of darkness. Album switches between that and more atmospheric moments concentrated on ambience and minimal guitar passages via the interplay of post-metal, droning, and acoustics. I loved the album so much I purchased the shirt with the album cover on it. $36 USD shipped on the Bandcamp which was a pass for me but if you go to the Season of Mist website, sub to their newsletter you get $5 off so I only paid $27 USD shipped for it.

I did listen 3 ms news songs, they were good. To me only negative is album is long. Its good sort of emo edged sound, hallowed effects from grave yard, but same time it has atmosfere, good rusty vocals from old farm house gates, what need be oiled, but all works. Good song writing, each song has different.
