JoHn DoE

Pretty awful album title.
I thought the two primary purposes for the internet were cat memes and overreactions.

Interested in that song with KD. That's about it.

Bad English
Tage Westerlund
So far I like all what I hear here, better as latest 3, go beck to the roots. Better as all after ''Crimson Thunder'' IMO. Good riffs, caty melodies, good vocals, maybe not super killer promotional singles here, but enjoyable.
Life is to short for LOVE, there is many great things to do online !!!

It’s a Hammerfall album. It’s not horrible but it’s just a Hammerfall album.

Arise In Might!
Really enjoying this one. The singles grew on me and there are some great tracks on the album (No Son of Odin, Too Old to Die Young, State of the W.I.L.D) Even the ballad Not Today is pretty interesting. Album really reminds me of Renegade in terms of the guitar leads and vocals. The most "Power Metal" album they have released in a while.

These guys got me into metal 14 years ago and I'll always have a soft spot for them, but I wasn't that impressed by their releases since (r)Evolution (which, in hindsight, had some pretty good songs on it). I don't think they'll ever reach the flair that they had in the times of Elmgren, Rosén and Andersson but after the first listen I can say I am positively surprised. Darker lyrical matter never suited them much really, and this album is way more upliftling than any album they did since Chapter V.

Honestly, their last good release was Crimson Thunder. They haven't put out anything as good since then. I kind of just gave up on them when Dominion came out. If this is anything like it, I won't be interested sadly.
Pull Me Under isn't overrated, the rest of their discography is underrated.
