I listened to this album out of curiosity. Never heard of Hoofmark before and not familiar with what they play. After listening to it... I have still no idea what style Hoofmark is...and I mean it in a good way. Part post black, part blackgaze, part grungegaze...flutes...percussions...piano...all there. It is like one of those movies that you stumble on the tv and for a strange reason it catches your attention and you can not stop watching.
