Robse's vocal style sounds quite similar to "Maurizio Iacono" the vocalist of Kataklysm. Their deep and strong growls might make you think that Robse could be a version of Kataklysm, but with a melodic death metal twist.

After Robse's split with Equilibrium I was hoping he'd end up somewhere good but I wasn't expecting him to start his own band. I'm glad his end of things has a happy ending since Equilibrium continues to make uninteresting garbage, not that this can be viewed as their successor or anything.

I was pleasantly surprised and a little impressed by this album because I really had no expectations for it and I've been listening to so many slower brooding albums lately that I needed something a bit more energetic and fun. Robse was never the best vocalist but he works well here and it's pretty clear that he and everyone else involved in this album were passionate about what they were making. There's good guitar work and keyboard touches, plus the mix is pretty clean. The writing and song structures can be a bit simplistic but there's a decent variety of what's going on and no two songs feel the same. The last four songs are the best chunk of the album but I liked pretty much all of it.
